Annual MEVZA underage tournaments will be held in January 2024. A combined number of nine national teams in the women’s and men’s U18 category and women’s and men’s U20 category are competing for the next Middle European Championship title!
From the 10th until the 12th of January Maribor, Slovenia will be the host of the MEVZA U18 women’s category and seven participating teams are: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Slovenia, and Slovakia.
In Pool I there are national teams of Slovenia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic, and in Pool II the teams of Slovakia, Croatia, Israel, and Austria.
In a three-day event, but from the 11th until the 14th of January, Zadar, Croatia will be the host of the MEVZA U18 men’s category where the next national teams will participate: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Hungary, Israel, and Slovenia.
Pool I consists of the national teams of Croatia, Austria, and Israel, and Pool II of the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, and Cyprus.
During a similar period, the U20 category competitions will be held. The women’s competition will be held in Maribor, Slovenia from the 3rd until the 7th of January and the participating teams are: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Luxembourg, Slovenia, and Slovakia.In this competition, there will be two pools each consisting of four teams. In Pool I the national teams of Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic, and Luxembourg found their place, and in Pool II Croatia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Israel.
While the women’s competition is being held in Maribor, during the same dates the U20 Men’s competition will be held in Puchov, Slovakia. There will be eight participating teams and those are: Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Israel, Luxembourg, Slovenia, and Slovakia.
Pool I consists of the national teams of Slovakia, Israel, Croatia, and Luxembourg, while Pool II of the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary, and Austria.
