“For the Luxembourg Volleyball Federation, this was a historic tournament. It was the first MEVZA Beach Volleyball Championship they organized, and at this inaugural tournament hosted by the Luxembourg federation, the Luxembourg team won the bronze medal. As hosts, the Luxembourg Volleyball Federation proved to be excellent organizers”, said the MEVZA President, Valentina Bifflin, after the tournament. She added:
“We have confirmation that the event will be held again next year, and regarding MEVZA – we can say we are extremely pleased with the number of teams that participated and the quality of the organization. For smaller federations like Luxembourg, events like this are crucial for the development of the sport and its popularity among young people, and our colleagues from Luxembourg are the best example of how to move in that direction. MEVZA and its leadership will certainly support them and assist with the organization of next year’s tournament. A big thank you to everyone involved in organizing, congratulations to the Luxembourg team on winning the bronze medal, and congratulations to the Luxembourg Volleyball Federation on an outstanding event.”
