OK Olimpik U19 and VK Brno U19 Crowned Champions at the Historic MEVZA Club Junior Championship

This Friday, a historic event unfolded as the first-ever MEVZA Club Junior Championship kicked off, marking a new chapter in European volleyball. The competition brought together 15 teams from Israel, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and Montenegro, creating an exciting atmosphere and setting the stage for a memorable tournament. After intense competition throughout the event, the championship came to a close today with thrilling results.

In the women’s final, OK Olimpik U19 faced off against PVK Olymp Praha U19 in a highly anticipated match. The game was hard-fought, but OK Olimpik U19 emerged victorious, winning 3-1 and claiming the prestigious championship title.

On the other side of the bracket, the women’s bronze medal match featured CRO Team and V.C. Ramat Aviv U19. Despite a valiant effort from CRO Team, it was V.C. Ramat Aviv U19 that took control, winning 3-1 and securing the third-place finish in the tournament. This result highlighted their resilience and quality play, securing them the bronze medal.

In the men’s division, the final saw VK Brno U19 take on Montenegro U19. The match was an exciting display of power and precision, with VK Brno U19 ultimately emerging as the champions after a 3-1 victory.

The men’s bronze medal match featured a compelling contest between V.C. Ramat Aviv U19 and SSS Volleyball Trencin U19. After an intense battle, it was SSS Volleyball Trencin U19 who came out on top, winning 3-0 to claim the third-place position in the tournament.
