A Successful Year and Ambitious Goals for the Future
MEVZA Director Frane Zanic reflected on the year’s accomplishments, stating: “I can say that this has been a truly successful year for MEVZA, both at the club and national team levels. For the first time, we organized the MEVZA Cup, bringing together national champions in the women’s category, hosted in Maribor. I believe we are on the right path, and I am confident that we will successfully implement the new projects planned for 2025.
Furthermore, our goal is to enhance the education of referees and coaches in the region. Together with the new leadership of CEV and FIVB, we aim to secure funding to support these initiatives and further improve MEVZA’s operations.”
Zani? expressed gratitude to MEVZA President Valentina Bifflin and Vice Presidents Metod Ropert and Gernot Leitner for their continued support and collaboration. He highlighted their joint efforts to advance MEVZA as an association and strengthen its position within CEV and FIVB structures.
