HAOK Mladost ZAGREB are still in the race for a Final Four spot in the men’s MEVZA League. Croatia’s reigning national champions celebrated a very important 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 25-16, 25-15) home win over TJ Spartak MYJAVA on Sunday night.

As a result, they closed the gap to third-placed OK Calcit KAMNIK to three points. Both teams have contested 13 matches in the regular season so far with a 8-5 win-loss record. Already on Tuesday, HAOK Mladost ZAGREB will be facing TJ Spartak MYJAVA again.
HAOK Mladost ZAGREB’s middle-blocker Kruno Nikacevic: “Congratulations to my team on that win. This was our third match in three days, so we feel somehow tired. Anyway, this was an important win in terms of qualifying for the Final Four tournament.”
The confident leaders in the current standing ACH Volley LJUBLJANA, second-placed OK Merkur MARIBOR and hosts SK Zadruga AICH/DOB are already confirmed participants in this MEVZA League season’s climax scheduled for late February.
