Maribor, Slovenia. From today until Sunday, a combined number of 11 national teams in the women’s U19 category and men’s U20 category are competing for the next Middle European Championship title.
In the women’s U20 category 6 teams (AUT, CZE, HUN, ISR, SVK, SLO) will play every opponent one time and based on the wins and losses determine the final classification. Exceptionally, all matches are being played 3 total sets (even if the score is 2-0, a final third set is still being played).
Men’s U20 category is featuring 5 teams (AUT, HUN, ISR, SVK, SLO), that will also play go against every opponent once. However, unlike the women’s competition field, men will also play semifinals, finals and classification matches.
