Hungary, Israel and Slovakia present their 2021 Beach Volleyball National Champions

After Slovenia already played their national championships at the end of July and Croatia only has a club championship, three more countries have gotten their champions this past weekend. Hungary, Israel and Slovakia now know their best teams in 2021, while Austria will find out this weekend.

Hungary

Szombathelyi champion for the fifth time, Hajós and Stréli for the third

On Sunday at the national beach volleyball championships in Budapest’s Lupa Beach it was Szandra Szombathelyi and Lilla Villám became the champions in the women’s category, while Artúr Hajós and Bence Stréli defended their titles in the men’s. For Szombathelyi it was already the fifth title after she already had four with her two previous partners.

ISRAEL

The Israeli beach volleyball championship was played in Ashdod with a sensation in the men’s category where Tomer Hadar and Kevin Cuzmicev took the gold after a dramatic victory in three sets over Sean Faiga and Nati Ohana, while in the women’s category Sofia Starikov and Anita Dave strengthened their position as the leading team of Israel.

SLOVAKIA

On Sunday the final tournament of the Slovak Beach Volleyball Championship Summer Beach Tour 2021 with decisive matches for national titles has been played. In an excellent atmosphere at the venue in Eurovea in Bratislava and with live broadcasts of JOJ PLUS it ended being the big pre-tournament favorites Marek Ludha with Luboš Nemec and Jana Šimanicová with Barbora Tokošová who won the gold and defended the titles.
