The Czech men’s volleyball team has achieved a remarkable result, finishing fourth at the FIVB World Championship. This historic accomplishment highlights the strength and dedication of Czech volleyball on the international stage.
Led by coach Ji?í Novák, the team demonstrated incredible teamwork and resilience, overcoming tough opponents from Serbia, China, Tunisia, and Iran to reach the semifinals. In the fight for the bronze medal, they competed strongly against the world’s top-ranked team, Poland.
This success comes on the back of a strong year for Czech volleyball, including a silver medal in the Golden European League and an unbeaten qualification for the 2026 European Championship. Key players such as Lukas Vasina, Patrik Indra, and captain Adam Zajicek played crucial roles in this achievement.
On behalf of MEVZA, of which the Czech Republic is a proud member, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the team, coaching staff, and everyone involved. Their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship set an inspiring example for all volleyball fans in the region and beyond.
