The evening started good for the local hero from Zagreb, Madlost Proenergy. With 25:21 they were able to win the first set and show, that they are able to use their home advantage.
Even though they had a huge support from the home crowd, they couldn’t continue with the performance they showed in the first set and lost the second one with 16:25. ACH Volley got more and more confident and took over the game. In the third set the Team from Slovenia increased the pressure and won with 25:21.
It meant a showdownn in the fourth set! All or nothing, the home favorite fought back and tried everything to get back into the game. In the end it was an exciting head to head race till the end. ACH Volley won the last and fourth set with 25:23.
