MEVZA League – Vasas Óbuda Budapest pick up three points on home soil

In the women’s MEVZA League, Vasas Óbuda Budapest cruised to an impressive win over SG VB NÖ Sokol/Post on Wednesday evening. The hosts needed just 66 minutes to dispatch their Austrian opponents 3:0 (25:17, 25:17, 25:11). Kata Török registered a tally of 14 points for the home side, while Diana Mitrengova recorded 11 for the away team.

As a result, Vasas Óbuda Budapest increased their points to 10 with a 4-1 win-loss record. The second placed Hungarian team will be facing bottom of the table OK Marina KASTELA twice next weekend. Both matches will take place in Croatia.
